We haven't had this bad of a night in a while. The monkey wanted to eat every three hours, plus noone slept deeply to start with. At 5am I couldn't force myself awake, so I just fed Si while I slept, I think he ate without waking up as well ( Read more... )

The little boy is an amazing derailer. It used to take me 15-30 minutes from the moment I woke up, to the moment I left the house. Now, I'm lucky if it's an hour, and that is when everything is packed, and Stacey is taking care of Simons needs. Stacey, god bless her soul, took care of Simon past the first feeding at 1am. This meant that I slept from 9:30 to 4:00am. Ah, bliss!! The only mistake that I made was not pumping before going to bed, so by 4:00 I had no choice but to get up and pump, but the monkey woke up at 4:30, so not a total loss. At three months Simon weighs 13.2 lb (30th percentile) and is 23.5 inches (16th percentile)

Simon is 4 weeks old today, so went to the pediatrician. All is well, Simon is doing fabulous. He is now 9 lb 7 ounces, and 20.75 inches long, which means he gained over 2 pounds, and 2.25 inches in 4 weeks. We are going back for vaccination shots in a month ( Read more... )
